Can we customize the Oracle Analytics custom home page which is out of the box for all users?

Can we change the color and icon of the Oracle Analytics custom home page which is out of the box for all users? I know there is an option in classic administration, Theme Management, but we would like to customize the DV home page. Please advise. Thank You.

    Hi Everyone,

    I received a response from Oracle Support that the feature of customizing logo in DV Home Page is still not available. This idea has already been submitted in Oracle Analytics Idea Lab, requesting this feature in OAC

    This is a new feature introduction with the July Update.


    Create and share custom pages 

    Create different pages for your users as alternatives to the default Oracle Analytics home page. Share pages with specific users to give them easy access to the content they need. See Create and Share Pages.


    Check if that feature would be helpful to you.

    There is also an existing feature for Content Authors, but you may be aware of that already:

    Hi @SteveF-Oracle

    Thank you for the inputs. We tried creating alternate home pages. Even in those pages, the color and Logo are greyed out as attached. Is there a provision to change them to a customer organization color and logo? Appreciate any answers on the possibility. Thank You.

    Also, is there a way to share a direct link to a "Page"?

    Similar to the feature in OBIEE dashboard that we can share a direct link to an executive dashboard… we want to have the ability to share a page (that pulls together a number of visualizations) to leadership.

    Can you please advise?

    You can share a page by setting permissions for user or approle via the access tab, however direct url to access the custom page is not available. Once access is shared by setting permissions, the user should be able to see the page in the page layout window.
