Query on sequence of Implementing HCM in Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) ?

  • The above are the pre-requisites for implementing HCM in FDI .
    Question 1) Is there any specific order to implement ? If yes mention the order please.
    Question 2) Should I first create Balance groups and then setup labels for costing segments ? or Reverse

    1. No specific order to implement. For example, Absence Management setup won´t interfere with payroll (and vice-versa). Make sure to run the HCM diagnostics and refresh manager hierarchy before loading the data (or you may need to reload the data).
      Also, you can avoid having to create a user to extract data if you create an Integrated instance, which also helps with LBAC. Create an Integrated Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Instance
    2. It shouldn´t matter, as soon as you perform both before loading payroll data.
