Hi Team,

We are seeing the data in DW_FISCAL_DAY_D table starting from July 2020 and not before that. This is resulting in missing many records from previous years like 2017,2018 and so on till June 2020 when this dimension table is getting joined with AR Aging Fact - DW_AR_AGING_ACCT_INV_RCPT_CA.

Our calendar setup in GL from July 2020 (we cannot change the calendar now as its already LIVE) but the module has transactions (invoices) from 2017 onwards. This has created a scenario where we are not able to reconcile data between sub ledger and ledgers.

Can you please provide us any alternative workaround to resolve this issue.

Appreciate any quick response.

Regards,

Sreekar Suri

@Aslesha Sreekar Suri - GL Calendar setup is controlled at source side and is the primary factor which is being considered in FDI Pipelines and the data extraction logic is designed based on same. There is no workaround or alternative for the same from FDI side. The current behavior seen is expected and as per design.

    Hi Sumanth,

I understand this is the behavior in FDI, but we are now unable to reconcile to GL given we have migrated outstanding aged debt prior to the setup of the GL Period start date which is permitted in Oracle Fusion. How can we now report on this data? The data is there in Fusion, but we can't report on it in FDI. Hoping there is a way as we can see that it can be done in standard Oracle Fusion report, but not in FDI. Is there another table that can be used that doesn't check against the GL Period Start Date?

Consider working with Oracle Support via SR, I am sure they might have already seen this behavior from some other clients as well and already discussed with the Product Development team to come up with a viable approach.

Alternative approach is going to be bit tedious in terms of using OTBL and finding the correct Subject Area or build a custom BIP report based on the related tables.
