How to delete a custom dimension which is linked to a seeded subject area and was published

By mistakenly created a dimension and choose the seeded subject area as target subject area. but Now i want to remove this custom dimension from the subject area. I have tried to delete the step but system is not allowing to delete. getting error as "Step belonging to Published Version in Master Branch cannot be disabled" . But I have successfully deleted the step of fact able which was also linked to the seeded subject area and used in the dimension. even though deleted the fact table and republish the main branch, still the fact table is visible in the subject areA

    Hi,

    Step1: created augmented tables using oracle PVo's

    Step 2: Create a branch and add a step to create a fact table. when create fact table choosed the Financials-AP invoice subject area as a target subject area. choosed the source as the first augmented table DW_FA_X_URL.

    Step3: Create a new step for create dimension table using the source object of second augmented table DW_FA_X_DOC_URL_TL. then choose the fact table created in step2 then choose the same target subject area(Financials AP invoices)

    Step4: then synch the branch to main branch.
    step5: cretae a tag for both steps and publish one by one.

    step6: now Fact and dimensions are visible in the Financials - AP invoice Subject area.

    I doubt if you can delete once it is published. It could be something you might need to work with Oracle Support.

    Yeah, I have rasied a SR and connect with the support engineer.publish without sleect any tags and branches then it is allowing to delete.
