Hi Team,

need suggestions in data load from FAW into Oracle EPM PBCS - any reference of connections / blogs etc?

  1. Inbound integration into Oracle EPM (PBCS - Planning Budgeting and cloud service) from FAW ?
    1. any suggestions on direct connection to pull data into EPM from FAW??
  2. Outbound integration from Oracle EPM (PBC - Planning Budgeting and cloud service) into FAW ?

    2. any other simple way?

    Yes, using the connector between EPM and FDI is the best and easiest approach. It allows you to extract data from EPM and load it into the target ADW for downstream operations such as reporting and analysis.

    I’m not sure I understand the need or requirement to move data from FDI to EPM. Could you please share more details about the business requirement? That will help us better understand the use case and suggest the most suitable approach.

    We have data in FDI that needs to be pushed and loaded to EPM PBCS. Now can FDI push via direct connection to EPM PBCS?

    FDI is part of the warehouse solution, so the warehouse serves as the target where data from different sources is loaded.

    In this case, EPM (PBCS) is the source. Could you please clarify the business requirement for data to flow from the warehouse back to the source?

    As of now, there are no available connections or mechanisms to load or pull data from FDI to EPM.

    the use case is that Actual bookings of travelers are present in FDI, which need to be imported in EPM (PBCS)to forecast

    @Sucharitnarang - Export the required data from FDI (using Oracle Analytics or the underlying Autonomous Data Warehouse tables) into a flat file (CSV), and then load that file into EPBCS using Data Management or Data Integration.
