ODBC connectivity to the OAC Server
Hi,
This is an enhancement request from a large OAS customer.
They have an OAS application that they would like to migrate to OAC, but they are unable to do so as all the end user desktop connections into the OAS Server are via ODBC. (They cannot change the connections from ODBC to JDBC as it would be too onerous)
Enhancement request is to enable ODBC access to the OAC server to match what is capable with OAS.
Thanks
Joel

For some additional context: We have a large application that leverages OAS for odbc connectivity amongst other things. Being able to create an odbc connection from a local machine to OAC, as can be done for OAS, would significantly increase the likelihood of us adopting the platform.
Is this on the roadmap at all for OAC? If not, is there a clear justification as to why odbc connectivity is not available?

Agreed. This would be very helpful in this case.
