OBIEE 12c Custome Logo Branding Changes

Question

Hi Team.

I had Placed the custom changes as below location and restarted the services but i cannot see the changes reflecting is there any additional steps need to be done.

[DOMAIN_HOME]/servers/bi_server1/tmp/_WL_user/analytics/eiguw6/war/res/s_Alta/master

[DOMAIN_HOME]/servers/bi_server1/tmp/_WL_user/analytics/za01ic/war/res/s_Alta/master

[DOMAIN_HOME]/servers/obips1/tmp/earmanager/analytics/2ARGkWK_YdSwdR1BxeI_JQ/res/s_Alta/master

Hi,

Why are you surprised it doesn't work?

In general when you don't do things in the way they are supposed to be done it doesn't work (if it does it's just by mistake).

So why not have a look at the doc? It's crazy how good they wrote things and covered all the steps for a custom style ...

Customizing the Oracle BI Web User Interface

If you are using 12.2.1.0.0 there is an issue around custom styles (when deploying the bicustom.ear, look on MOS and you find the patch and the new doc on how to do it).

If you follow the doc it will work in just 5 minutes.

And the good thing is that it will also survive your next patch / update / upgrade.
