OAC scheduled maintenance does not line up with the Bi-monthly updates
Our Scheduled Maintenance notification dates for our region/instance names, does not line up with the Bi-monthly updates listed on the web page. Can someone explain what the actual process is? thank you.
I see updates on the web page for Jul 25, Sep 25, Nov 25 which suggests all updates are done bi-monthly yet our Scheduled maintenance e-mails show the following dates, which suggest not all systems are updated every other month.
test 8/6/25, dev 9/25/25, test 9/25/25, dev 9/29/25, prod10/1/25, test 12/1/25, dev 12/2/25
It would be so much cleaner if the bi-monthly updates were done on a fixed schedule, would make this more predictable for planning and testing of the updates. so for example if the Nov 25 update was done on the dev and test systems the beginning of the month, so we had a window of a week or two to test, before it would be installed to production.

I've found out some new information, I verified our instances are all set to regular which means they should all update at the same time.
So I still have a question out to the oracle folks, why aren't our systems all being update at the same time? and what is the timing after the scheduled maintenance info is posted to the web site?

When you set up Oracle Analytics Cloud, you select an update cycle that's appropriate for your environment (either
Early
or
Regular
). You can review your selection from the Instance Details page.
Please refer , following doc to further look at the steps to verify the update cycle.
Hope it helps!
