OBIEE Dashboard Gauge not displaying decimals for custom formulas. Any work-around?
I have made a custom formula that calculate SPI(t) (an Earned Schedule metric) values. I selected the Dial Gauge to display it in OBIEE. But the dial gauge only displays in whole numbers. But the same gauge is able to display decimals when it is displaying values of default SPI. I Have tried adjusting the settings without any success. Is there a solution to this?

I cannot recall, please check if there is an option to change the Data Type to Double.

Hi image237,
Do other views display decimal for SPI(t), such as table or pivot table veiws? If not, what formula are you using for SPI(t)?

What does your formula look like?

try multiplying by 1.0

If all parts of your formula are Integers, you will get an Integer value. To fix in this case, multiply the left-most value by 1.0 — this will ensure the whole formula. If you put the 1.0 multiplier at the end, it may not work as intended.
