csv-Export must contain hierarchies
In case of downloading tables using hierarchies, the hierarchical layer must be considered as well. Currently while downloading a table with unfoldes hierarchies, those sub-layers are not part of the csv-Download file. However, we even need the sub-layer information within the csv also.
Another solution could be, that csv-download contains always the information/data to each layer of the used hierarchy (full table drill down).

Hello,
csv is text format and cannot support hierarchies. This is not a limitation of the product but just now csv works. If you want excel export to support hierarchies, then that is a enhancement for the product.
Thanks.

Hi Avinsah,
We must enable to our customers to have the information in both ways of interface formats:
- So, yes at first it is a requirement regarding Excel, to support hierarchies → enhancement
- in case, the customer downloads a pivot table containing hierarchies, the hierarchy information somehow must be part of the transformation process.

Hi again,
wouldnt it be possible to flatten hierarchies in csv, g.
Hierarchie:
Level 1: region A
Leve 2: subregion A, subregion B
leads in csv to:
region A, subregion A
region A, subregion B
so that there is a kind of redundant data on Level 1 hierarchy?
Hope, you know what I mean
