OBIEE 11g [ Error 500 -- Internal Server Error ]

Hi
I tried to upload the RPD from production environment to the TEST environment to make a clone copy of production in Test. Once I uploaded the RPD in Enterprise manager and restarted all the services the restart was successful and all the components (admin server, manager server and opmn) is up and running with green.
But when I open the analytics page it throws me this error
Error 500--Internal Server Error |
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:10.5.1 500 Internal Server ErrorThe server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. |
After some R&D in the internet, I checked the Oracle process manager and it was in a running state. I tried to open the analytics with multiple RPD but it still throws same issue.
Kindly assist.
Regards
Vyshak P

Check the logs, otherwise you won't be able to solve the issue and we won't be able to help you since we can't really guess what went wrong with your system. Besides, even if you solve the issue by trying multiple things, you'll never know what went wrong.

Hi Pedro
Are you asking me to check the sawlog ?

If all services are running as you say then yes, check your sawlogX.log and nqserver.log

To add what Pedro said, check your deployments, the state should be "Active" in Web Logic Server Administration Console, and tell us about the logs

The Error 500 is seen when the plugin (/analytics) is not able to connect to the presentation server. You have to:
- Check that the presentation server is running (opmnctl status on 11g or status.sh on 12c)
- Check the presentation server logs and see if there are any error(s)

Hi,
Please check the version of 2 environments (Sometimes if you have a different version, the RPD fail).

1. Check in Administration Console, you bi_server1 are RUNNING;
2. Check your deployment are "Active"
3. Check Availability of the BI Processes

Hi,
Just try to check services, like cesar.advincula.o said.
