Not sure whether it is bug or enhancement. New Derived dates parameter has couple of issues.

  • Parameter Binding is not available in filter.
  • Default value set to parameter is very tricky.
    • I can set default value as Parameter if I create a Parameter from filter UI instead.
    • If I create Parameter from Parameter menu and try to set default value to attribute , it is not showing parameter option. So I can't set default value as parameter using same existing parameter across all.

    Hi Raja,

    Parameter binding is supported on List filters for derived date.. We are working on adding the support for non-list filter styles for derived date. I will keep this thread updated on the ETA. The default value property will work as List filter once we have added the parameter binding properties for non-List filter styles.

    Hi @Avinash Krishnaram-Oracle, there has been no update on this in quite some time. Is there an eta on when we can use parameter binding for Date Range and Relative Time options in date filters?
