RMC Dashboard Enhancement: Incident Counts by Status with Active/Inactive Control Filtering
Product
Oracle Risk Management Cloud (RMC)
Idea Summary
Enhance the Risk Management Dashboard (RMC) to provide consolidated incident counts by incident status and enable filtering based on the status of associated controls (Active vs. Inactive).
Detailed Description
The current RMC Dashboard provides limited visibility into incident trends and their relationship to control effectiveness. This enhancement would introduce dashboard visuals (tiles/charts) that display incident counts grouped by status (e.g., Open, In Progress, Closed), with the ability to filter incidents based on whether associated controls are Active or Inactive.
Users should be able to:
View total incident counts by status.
Filter incident metrics by:
Active Controls
Inactive Controls
All Controls
Drill down from dashboard metrics to underlying incident details.
This enhancement would provide clearer insight into risk exposure, particularly incidents tied to inactive or disabled controls.
Business Justification
Improves real-time visibility into incident lifecycle and control effectiveness.
Helps identify high-risk areas where incidents are linked to inactive controls.
Reduces reliance on manual reporting or external analytics tools.
Strengthens audit readiness, compliance monitoring, and executive reporting.
Enables faster, data-driven risk and remediation decisions.
Users Impacted
Risk Managers, Compliance Teams, Internal Audit, ERP Security Administrators, and Executive Leadership.

Great idea! These enhancements would allow risk and controls teams to better articulate status of incident reviews and day to day progress on mitigation efforts.

This is very much needed to increase visibility and transparency of the risk profile of the application across levels of leadership, ICFR and Risk Teams.
