Workbook filter - dynamic selection of last 3 / 4 years from the list
OAC version - January 2026
We have workbook(s) with filter (s) and we want make the selections to be dynamic , like latest 3 years from the list OR it could be 4 years . want to make selections dynamic so that when we have cross over next year the selections should be automatic and we don't need to update the selections manually.
Is there a way to achieve this ?
Thank You

Is this from a custom dataset and is this a time based column or an attribute? If you use a time based column then you get a 'Relative' option in the filter where you can select the last (n) periods as below
If you are using an attribute column then you could create a parameter based off a Logical SQL query to return the three highest values Using something like SELECT TOP 3 * from table.Survey Year. For more info on Parameters check out this bog from @Avinash Krishnaram-Oracle https://blogs.oracle.com/analytics/build-delightful-dashboard-experience-using-parameters
Hope this helps.
