Currently, an author can anchor data actions only to specific data fields. When the author creates a data action anchored to data fields, the data action appears in all the visualizations containing those data fields; even in the visualizations for which the author has not intended the data action to be available. This creates unnecessary entries under the data action section of the context menu of a viz, due to which the end users need to make effort to locate the data action of interest.

With the ability to anchor a data action to specific visualizations, the authors can control which data actions appear on a visualization and thereby reduce noise.
