Access Denied for User to Path: User Customizations

Hi,
When some of my users in OBIEE 11g attempt to create and save a dashboard customization they receive the following error message: "Access Denied for user to path /users/<username>_selections/<folder/customization reference>".
All users in our system except for admins have the same role/access. We are not sure why this is happening. Any explanation or similar issues with an insight into your resolution would be greatly appreciated!

Sometimes that can happen when the /user/ folder is messed up or corrupted. Normally you can purge the folder and it will get recreated as soon as the user logs on again. Just make sure to back up his content first.

Just to add go inside catalog manager in offline mode and do what recommended.
