Many business reporting use cases require QR codes to be generated dynamically from report data, such as Order Numbers, Invoice Numbers, Asset IDs, Shipment Numbers, URLs, and Fusion transaction deep links.
Currently, Oracle FDI/OAC does not provide native QR code generation capabilities within analyses, dashboards, or semantic model reporting. Customers must rely on external QR code services, custom development, or BI Publisher, which introduces additional complexity, security concerns, and maintenance overhead.
This QR may have line level information of a report.
We request the addition of a native QR Code visualization or function in FDI that allows users to generate QR codes directly from report attributes and calculated fields. This capability would support operational and analytical use cases such as:
- Sales Order and Purchase Order tracking
- Invoice verification and payment processing
- Asset and inventory management
- Shipment and logistics tracking
- Product identification and traceability
- Fusion transaction deep-link navigation
A native QR code feature would improve usability, reduce dependency on external services, and enable secure enterprise reporting within the Oracle ecosystem.
