Does Oracle Analytics Server 2026 include AI features such as a built-in chatbot or AI Assistant? If not, are there any plans or indications that these AI capabilities will be introduced in a future OAS release?
I doubt Oracle will answer your question.
Reference the roadmap, that's your best bet on getting hints of what is coming in the future.
If you look for some specific features to be available in the product, check the Idea space to see if the same has been requested already and up-vote it. If you can't find an idea for the feature you look for, post it yourself giving enough details and justifications (and in this case, make it obvious you look for a OAS feature, not OAC): https://community.oracle.com/products/oracleanalytics/categories/idealab-oracle-analytics-cloud-server
OAS is usually based on the Jan OAC release, but it's always uncertain what features are going to be missing. When something depends too much from other cloud products, it is quite challenging to make it available in OAS.
AI is easily available in various way in the cloud, for on-premises support of AI features we can imagine there are a number of changes required in the code, and this is why the feature is just removed for on-premises release.
OAS 2026 does not include any AI feature that requires a LLM model. This is not in the immediate roadmap either.
@Lalitha Venkataraman-Oracle Not a good message for us, on-prem OAS customers. As proofed many times, priorities in Product direction are somewhere else. I don't like that, to be honest.
@IK_786 , always refer to the official doc for the main differences between OAS and OAC: https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/bi/analytics-server/whats-different-oas/index.html
And, by the OAS release model, OAS only receive new features in the yearly release. Any other bundle patch is corrections of issues but not new features.
Thank you for the clarification. Could you please let me know whether Oracle has any plans or is considering introducing LLM-based AI features in a future on-premises version of OAS? In particular, is there any possibility that capabilities similar to the AI/chatbot features available in Oracle’s cloud offerings could eventually be made available for on-premises deployments?
@Lalitha Venkataraman-Oracle can you please reply to my query / question ?

However, the planners have only populated assets for only one milestone from the list of milestones the customer wants to track. Which gives an incorrect view as the project moves past different milestones that it has…
I scheduled the report in OTBI and the agent was run successfully. However, I do not receive the report after the run in my inbox. The addresses are properly recorded, and the report is in an excel format and saved as a pivot table in otbi. What can be the cause?
Anyone has any idea why the OAC documentation on custom viz is not available now? I was able to access till last week - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsdv/build-package-extension.html. Does this mean OAC doesnt support custom viz or custom workbook extensions?
