Not able to find the documentation on Extension development

Question

Anyone has any idea why the OAC documentation on custom viz is not available now? I was able to access till last week - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsdv/build-package-extension.html.

Does this mean OAC doesnt support custom viz or custom workbook extensions?

When you have a doubt if a feature has been removed in OAC, you can quickly check

https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acswn/

to find what changed across versions and see if you see a reference to your feature.

My random guess for the doc that was there last week and not this week anymore? An updated doc for the OAC September 2026 release has been published and some pieces are missing.

I didn't see anything in the "What's New" page mentioning extensions were being removed, I would just call it unluck and bad timing. Hopefully they will soon republish that info somewhere (either same URL or a new one).
