OBIEE 11.1.1.7 on RHEL 7

Does RHEL 7 machine support OBIEE 11g 11.1.1.7?
(on RHEL 7 machine) because during the installation process i'm getting an error "error in invoking target 'agent nmhs' of makefile '/u01/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1/sysman/lib/ins_emagent.mk' "

Hi,
The certification matrix for OBIEE 11.1.1.7 doesn't cover RHEL7 just because it didn't exist back in 2013 when 11.1.1.7 was released.
I guess I saw RHEL7 in the OBIEE 11.1.1.9 certification matrix, so maybe time to start thinking about upgrading? (to 11.1.1.9 or 12c)

my current obiee 11g instances(11.1.1.7) are running on RHEL 5 machines, the plan is to move to RHEL 7 machines, so is it feasible to install OBIEE 12c in the new RHEL 7 machines and transfer the RPD's of the old instances(of obiee 11g)?
Will there be any issues with the existing reports if they get deployed in OBIEE 12c from 11g?0 -
OBIEE 12c is certified for RHEL7 (look the details in the certification matrix Oracle Fusion Middleware Supported System Configurations ).
A migration from OBIEE 11g to OBIEE 12c is possible but it's not a "next, next, finish" job. There are many changes in the platform and some of your reports will maybe not work or work in a different way.
Plan your migration correctly, define the regression testing scenarios and you will manage most of the problems (but it will not take 1 day, or your RPD is just 10 tables and you have 20 reports...).

one final question,
what would be the consequence if i install OBIEE 11.1.1.9(on RHEL 7)and deploy RPD's created by 11.1.1.7?
It is cool to do it right?

Email. Hmmm. You know that's a service called "consulting" for which you normally pay.
Plus it's bad netiquette in the forum.

Well, it will be a cool task for sure
From 11.1.1.7 to 11.1.1.9 is still a migration, there are things that will stop working maybe and things that are going to work in a different way.
So it's not just about "copy/paste the RPD and reports" from one to the other and done.
