Connecting to Oracle Applications using OAUTH

Oracle recently announced that basic auth is going away for soap/rest services in CX Sales. We have a connection to Sales via Oracle Application connection that uses basic auth. We are worried when this goes in effect (end of March 2027), that our reporting will begin to fail because the connection only supports basic auth.

Please allow oauth 2.0 to be used to connect to other Oracle Applications

Upvoted. If the Oracle Applications connection only supports basic auth, March 2027 becomes a hard stop for cross-pillar reporting, so OAuth 2.0 support is essential. It would also help to have interim guidance before the cutover so reports don't break in the meantime.

They are also rolling these changes out to all of our non-prod/prod instances at the same time. No way to test the basic connection impact ahead of time.
