Hi,

I have report with a hierarchy column. Using selection steps i have added groups (created using nodes of the same hierarchy) to show up in the report. When i run the report it show those groups with +sign, so i have to expand it to show the values at further levels. I want this report to show all these groups to be expanded when a report is run. I dont want to click on +sign.

    This doesn't help as this approach works only when you have selected direct nodes and their children in the selection steps. I have used groups  which are created using direct nodes of hierarchy and saved in the catelog.

    If you open your group while in the "Result" tab of Answers and save it the group will be saved as expanded and when you open the analysis the group will be open.

    That's also the reason why you must never "play" with your analysis in the "Result" tab when testing but only in preview as what you do there will be saved in the analysis.
