We are planning to upgrade BI 11.1.1.7.0 with 10.2.0 DB to 12c latest release (Both DB & Appl). Could anyone please suggest document for same.

Firstly, this is a different issue so I suggest you close the original thread and open a new one for your new issue.

Having said that, check that your JAVA_HOME is set up correctly

Hi Joel,

I will raise separate thread for that.

One last question , Current 11G RPD is pointing to custom schema in database which has many objects & tables.

Will migration tool will take care of this schema or we need to export & import using datapump expdp in new 12c database.

Please suggest!

Follow the steps in the Oracle document I provided you.

In a nutshell:

Install JDK

Install WebLogic

Install OBIEE binaries

Run config and create RCU schemas

Run migration tool (this can be done in config step above as well)

Install OBIEE client tools

Hi ,

Windows 2008R2 is not supported for OBIEE12C.

By the way , don't forget set "BI_PRODUCT_HOME=.../..../..../Oracle_Home" environment variable.
