Display of each report on Dashboard with fixed height
Hi,
We have one Dashboard in which 5 reports are placed vertically and they all contain huge number of records, and so users are finding it difficult to scroll down and check each report.
Is there any option to display each report placed on Dashboard with fixed height and then scroll option to be inserted for each individual report to view all the records under that report?

Let's assume you are on OBIEE 11g (you didn't say). If so, you can indeed insert the scroll option into each individual report. To do so, modify the "Table View Properties" and under "Data Viewing" select the option "Fixed Headers with Scrolling Content". From there you can specify height and width of the table in pixels and you'll see a scroll bar.

Dashboard AND huge number of rows -- is the problem ... the whole point of a dashboard is to give the user the information they need to decide to act ... so what are your users doing with all those rows? Get to the end game and put that on the dashboard!
Think of your Tachometer on your dashboard of the car ... imagine running at 4500 rpm ... and having the needle spinning like that on your dashboard! Ridiculous, right? Rather the gauge is incremented in 1000s and there's the redline on it ... instantly, and as you drive at 80 mph, you know what the RPM is and you know where it is in relation to the redline. The dashboard gives you the end game so you can decide to shift to the next gear or not.

But I face this issue in "Oracle CRM On Demand", and all the rows satisfying the report criteria should appear for that report on Dashboard. So, I want to know (1) if there is any option to insert scroll bar for each individual report or (2) if we can display only first 25 records and display back and forward arrow buttons to see rest of the records.. or any other solution.
Please suggest.
