Creating HFM reports in OBIEE

Hi,
We have a requirement to create HFM reports in OBIEE and have completed following tasks.
- HFM 11.1.2.3 Server is installed on Window environment
- OBIEE 11.1.1.9 Server is installed on Oracle Linux Environment
- Installed Oracle Database 11g on Linux Environment
Next steps which are going to follow are
- Install HFM ADM driver and HFM client on Linux enviroment where OBIEE is installed
- Configure HFM cluster
- Connecting to HFM Data Source in OBIEE
Please suggest if all the steps are correct or anything is being missed. Will I be able to import HFM application if OBIEE Server and HFM ADM driver are
installed on Linux and HFM Server on Windows.
Thanks

Hi,
Are you the one who posted on MOSC too? Creating HFM reports in OBIEE 11.1.1.9
I'm just going to do a copy/paste:
The process has been documented in detail by Oracle in a PDF for OBIEE 11.1.1.7.
For OBIEE 11.1.1.9 you could imagine things were easier as the ADM driver is already there for Hyperion Planning, but apparently it isn't for HFM.
Have a look at this: More to life...: HFM 11.1.2.4 as a data source in OBIEE
It is about HFM 11.1.2.4 but Jon said:
I am going to concentrate on the process to get running with HFM 11.1.2.4 as this is the first version where the thin driver has to be used and will be in the future, I will be using OBIEE 11.1.1.9 though the process should still be relatively similar when using the thin driver in HFM 11.1.2.3 or OBIEE 11.1.1.7
So look the PDF, read Jon's post and you will get most of the infos.
The key element is to use the thin driver and not the native one, that's the key to make it work on your linux OBIEE.
In addition to the above: look at the official documentation.
