ISSUE:

I am trying to open rpd file in online mode. I remember the password for that correctly ( made a note during installation). How ever I am also being prompted for USER: Administrator the password. when I enter the same password as Repository password it is giving message Authentication failed ( please refer to 2nd screen shot below). Is there a way to get to this password. I do not remember setting any other password during installation. Other than for RCU for the BIPLATFORM schema. IS there a some default value for the user Administrator... Please advice

  • First thing: OBIEE 11.1.1.9 isn't officially certifies for Windows 10, so if at some point you end up having issues ... you are alone, don't even try ask Oracle for support.

You entered the password for the administrator account, it's the admin account you created during the installation of OBIEE. Generally the username is "weblogic" and not "Administrator". When you work online you must provide the authentication for OBIEE (user / password) as you are online on the live server and the RPD password. These are the 3 things the tool ask you.
