Oracle BI 11g - Unable to download in Excel

Hi OBIEE Community, Recently we have installed  Oracle Business Intelligence 11.1.1.9.0 in our server and migrated RPD & WEBCAT from 10g. We can able to see reports but unable to download the reports in Excel format.

We are getting below error message , Can anyone suggest, what could be the issue? Any settings need to be changed or Patch to be applied ?

Error :

"There was an error processing your download.

Please check with your administrator"

    Hi,

    How "big" is the thing you try to download?

    Does it work with the export in the older Excel version? Does it work in CSV?

    If you are doing data dumping in Excel file the issue is not really the tool but what you do with it (the right tool for the right job).

    Of course you can increase various settings (link posted above and documentation and this forum full of examples) but at some point you will always be limited be the resources if you are trying to do something the tool isn't supposed to be used for.

    Hi Gianni,

    The data volume is very less than few hundred records only.

    Yes I can able to download in csv format. I don't find any option to download in older version, in Export option its showing only Excel 2007+ option only right, so I couldn't able to try in older version of excel.

    yes I have tried above steps given by Battula , still im getting same error.

    All the users have the problem? Does these users have the permission to access and write in their personal folder?

    Actually we are testing in nonproduction environment with Admin privilege and login as Admin only. Yes all of them facing same issue even in others system.
