Subscribe to the Community Weekly Email Digest
The Weekly Email Digest contains summaries of and links to community posts (discussions, comments, questions, etc.) from the prior week. The Weekly Email Digest is personalized for the categories that a member of the community is subscribed to. Members of the community are not automatically subscribed to the Weekly Email Digest.
Members of the community can self-manage their subscription to the Weekly Email Digest by following these steps:
Category Notification Preferences
- To follow a Category, navigate to its page and click the Follow button. Forums (Categories) and Idea Labs are some examples of categories that can be followed.
- The Category is now followed with the default notification preferences as set in the community member's Notification Preferences.
- Further tailor notification preferences for a Community within the dropdown:
- Include in email digest: This refers to including this Category in the Weekly Email Digest.
- Notify me of new comments: This refers specifically to comments (replies) made in posts. Can choose to be either alerted within the Community page, via email, or both.
- Notify me of new posts: This refers to all new posts in the Category, which includes discussions, questions, ideas, etc. Can choose to be either alerted within the Community page, via email, or both.
- Notify me of new or updated events: Decide whether to receive notifications about new or updated events associated with this Category. This will only notify you of events posted within this specific page. It is instead recommended to view the Events page to check for new Events.
- Unfollow: If you’re already following a Category, you can click Unfollow Category at any time to disable all notifications and remove it from your list of Followed Categories.
