Please follow the moderation rules below and visit regularly to be aware of additions:

Forum Guidelines

  1. Respectful Communication: Be courteous and positive in the communication.
  2. No Spam or Self-Promotion: No Spam or self-promotion from users, customers, partners or employees.
  3. Stay On-Topic: Post about the product and the product capabilities and avoid hijacking a question and deviate to another one. If you have another question, create another post.
  4. No Illegal Content: Zero tolerance with illegal content. User will be banned and reported.
  5. Respect Privacy: Please ensure to not post personal information or PID data from your company.
  6. No Harassment or Bullying: Report immediately any negative answers or behaviors. Zero tolerance on users or moderators harassing or bullying another user.
  7. Constructive Feedback: Provide a constructive feedback without judging the user's experience or skill sets.
  8. No Trolling: Zero tolerance for trolling. User will be banned.
  9. Announce limit: Only 3 announces should be in any forum at any time. If a moderator is already seeing 3 announce, please "Dismiss" an announce before doing a new announcement. Important: Please ensure your announce provide more value than the announce you want to dismiss. Moderators can lose the ability to announce if abuse.
  10. Avoid Duplicate Posting: Please ensure to search before posting. Usually a post might be already available with a correct answer.
  11. Avoid Commenting on old post: Report an old post to be closed and create a new one if the question is different.

Event Guidelines

  1. Respectful naming convention: Ensure the event is titled correctly, starting by "Analytics - Oracle Analytics Cloud: your title". Example: Analytics - Oracle Analytics: Getting Started Webinar. This is important to standardize all titles for newsletters.

Data Visualization Guidelines

  1. Data Visualization Ownership: Please ensure to post only your data visualization. If the data visualization has not been created by you, please mention the author in the post.
  2. Data Visualization Quality: The Data Visualization posted should be in format 1200 x 627 minimum. Visualization below this format will be deleted.
