Finally, I got the results. There was a mismatch between Roles from the privileges from Presentation Admin to Identity Manager. Thanks guys for pitching in.

Even after setting "Allow" for "DDR" in Identity Manager for BIAdministrators Role, I am still seeing the same error. Am I missing something here?

To be more clear on my requirement, The view 1 has 3 columns XX, YY, ZZ The view 2 has (3 similar column names with meaningful data as view 1) 3 columns XX, YY, ZZ So how to model for view 1 and view 2 in BMM to finally do UNION ALL at the analysis to achieve the end result? Thank you.

Hi Gianni, I appreciate your response on giving good understanding on views. If you can clarify one more related issue, I have to create an analysis based on given 2 views which are created using EBS soure tables, So how can I model them in BMM ( 2 views are acting as isolated FACTS) with no relationship with Warehouse…

Good to know that I have to create columns manually. Also, how do you model in BMM to bring in this single SELECT table to see in the report.

What if one don't have access permissions to web catalog, What other alternative you recommend? Thanks Gianni.

Thanks Gianni for your prompt reply. In my case, I am having a situation where the existing report and new report are built on different Subject Areas. So in this case how do you pass the Acct number from one to new report. Will GO URL can solve the problem? If yes, can you share me the details?

Asim, Duplicate the columns and remove their names? Explain?

I need the those columns in the pivot table view but want only one to be displayed under each bar in bar chart. So can we format the display in such a way that only one column name be displayed?
-
Thank you Gianni, I was wrong.
-
Yes you are right Gianni, But it is giving the same result. It is also showing the prompts in excel along with the analysis result.
-
There are several prompts to select but user will leave them as blank and just selects one prompt for Organization before exporting to EXCEL. Now, when the user exports the excel is showing all the prompts along with the report data. It looks odd, when you see the prompts along with report data. So all I need to see is…

Yes Christian, you are absolutely right. But, I need to get only the report data in excel after export but not the prompts section along with the report. If need be, I want to disable those options and give a custom link if possible.

Hi Syed, I already found those docs you shared on support web. But I need precise document for configuration believing it has already been documented by Oracle.
