Sorry for the delay, unfortunately it didn't work. It's unfortunate that the users need to use 'Reset to default values' each time they move to another page and they don't like it at all.
-
Robert, Initially l thought that's what was causing it and l had created separate prompts. When you edit, they shorten the names but they are two separate dash prompts.
-
Robert, I tried clearing the 'Limit by' option and still it didn't work.
-
Robert, I believe you got it right, yes these are two separate dashboard prompt on two separate dashboard pages. When l'm on Phase I page and move to Phase II page, it's taking the Phase I values to override Phase II values when the two a defaulted to different values and Dashboard Prompt Scope is set to 'Page' When…

Robert - l think l'm lost here. The prompt on each page is defaulted to a specific value even though both pages are using the same column the specific values selected on each page are different.
-
Project Phase I is defaulted to Phase I on the dashboard filter selection and Project Phase II like wise, by choosing Scope to 'Page' l would expect Phase I defaulted values should not be passed on to override Phase II defaulted values. correct me if l am mistaken on this or if l miss something here.
-
Robert, I am going to the page directly though these pages are using the same subject area, as shown below. I am moving from Project Phase I to Project Phase II and it's passing whatever selected values on dashboard prompt to the Phase II page when scope is set to 'Page' and not Dashboard.

Joel and Robert - thank you for your quick response my apologies if this wasn't clear enough. I already have dashboard with pages set and Dashboard Prompts Scope set to Page. The problem is when l move from one page to the other, it's still pulling prior parameters with it to the next page instead of using page specific…

Dolly, Instead of using Limit values by 'All Prompts', check mark each individual prompt even though you're selecting all. I have seen All Prompts not working the way it should do, l'm thinking this might be your issue. Just try and see how that goes.
-
That makes sense, thank you on your advice - l will work on this and will keep you posted.

Besides doing dimensional hierarchies on the rpd, how would l set relationship between a summarized report and it's action link drill? Plesae advise

Using the New Group icon in the results section e.g. Dep A = $100 + Dept B = $250 then Creating Group for Dep A&B Total = $350 Having an Action linked report, l can drill on Dep A and see the details but when l drill on Dep A&B Total l get the error no resultscbdcd150323941673__@@#$__cbdcd150323941673_g1

I created a Column Grouping giving me a sum of the items in the group. I can click on the items individually to an action drilled report but when l use the grouped name l get the error as shown below no results cbdcd150323941673__@@#$__cbdcd150323941673_g1
