Hi Steve, I attached the config.xml I added an ActiveDirectory authentication provider and made it "sufficient" as well as the defalut authentication provider. This way, I can log in with my Active directory user as well as with "weblogic" user. In OBIEE it works well this way. Regarding the SSO - I didn't define anything…

Gianni, Thanks for your prompt response! Unfortunately, I can't get a response from EM. Even right after clean installation myserver:9500/console works fine, but when I try myserver:9500/em and enter weblogic credentials, the page freezes for several minutes and then I'm getting a timeout error. Gianni, Thanks for the prompt answer!!! Actually I tried to do this by giving a "restrictung role" no access on Shared Folders The user has 3 roles: "restrictung role", "BI Consumer", "Authenticated User" However when I log in with this user, I can see Shared Folders and all it's subfolders. How can this be? Thanks, Alex

Thanks Gianny!

Christian, Thanks for the answer. I needed that because we serve a lot of queries every day and the table grows very quickly. Thanks again Alex

Thanks, Gianni. Unfortunately this doesn't look like a viable option in our case since the servers are not located in the same LAN (one - US, another - UK), and therefore there's no such shared disk that will be 100% of the time available to both instances to possible network issues. Alex

Joel, Thanks again! Another question: Doesn't the OBIEE cluster provide this kind of functionality? Alex

Hi Joel, Thanks for answering. I am currently using bar files. However the process is pretty heavy since we have a large catalog. Also we are frequently getting strange errors during bar file import. Since webcat is a regular Linux folder, I was wondering if it's possible just to replicate changed files from one server to…
