Hi Luis, thank you for the update. Is this a current capability in 6.0? I am asking because that search box does not exist in 5.5 and 5.9 -- the versions that we have.

Administrators should be able to see all data sets, data connections, and data flows as a default. This would enable them to manage the platform more efficiently.
-
This was requested by our user community using OAS as well.
-
It would also be great to be able to see the data flow log under Inspect -History and SORT the log by date. Right now there is no way to sort the history of the data flow.

This would definitely benefit Verizon as well. I would ask to apply these SQL improvements not just when using Local Subject Areas, but also when using external database connections. The user expectation is that when SQLs run successfully in Oracle Developer, they should run successfully using OAS SQL Editor as well. But…

Hi Pravin, Thank you for your feedback. Right, the ability to append to data sets is available for database targets/ database connection only not for dataset storage. This idea is specific to having the ability to append/add new data to existing dataset storage because users do not always have write access to database…

Gabby, do you have an update on this option?

Calling on other customers to vote on this brilliant idea!!
-
Gabby Rubin, do you have updates on when we can expect to have this update?

This is especially true when you deal with many users creating many data sets with similar names! Having the ability to organize data sets in folders + the ability to only show the data sets that users have access to (default is users see all data sets regardless of their access) would be very ideal!
-
This will eliminate confusion and questions from end users on why they are seeing data sets that they cannot access.
-
This would benefit our organization as well. Great idea!

Our company has its own branding color palette (and fonts) and would greatly benefit from this idea. Especially when we have to create executive or customer facing presentations that need to abide by our branding standards. While we have a workaround --create a blank project with the custom color palette and share that…

I think we need to be specific when it comes to usage of see vs access. Prasad is correct in a sense that all users can see.. they can see a list of data sets. However, not all users can access all of the data sets that they can see. Access is based on restrictions set on the data sets under Inspect. A great idea would be…

Glad to see this idea is already submitted. Having version control on data sets, data flows, projects, etc., would enable users to revert back to previous versions in the event of accidental mistakes.
-
This idea would help our organization as well. I can envision using this feature when doing live demonstration for end users and acting as an end user not as an administrator so I can demo what the users can see and access.

We have been getting several requests from users to not have these top filters set to limited by AUTO as a default. This idea was submitted back in 2019. Any updates as to when we can see this default setting changed or have the ability to not set the default to AUTO?
-
Our end users would benefit from this idea as well.

Hi Luis, Many thanks for the response and review! Looking forward to working with you on this idea.
