Hi @FDI_USER Is this FDI instance created as an integration with Fusion instance or it was created as a standalone instance? Can you please confirm? Looking at the behavior it seems to me, you are using a Fusion integrated FDI instance. If that's the case then it could well be an expected behavior.

@User_7H4H9 Welcome to the Community! In case the required columns from PVO are not present as part of the existing SA in FDI, you can always bring these in using Augmentation and then include them as part of the Subject Areas using Semantic Model Extensions.
-
@RdPFNB You can track the below Idea which has been raised to Add a Subject Area for Lease Accounting to check when this is going to be implemented. Currently its in planned status.

@Raluca Balan-Oracle You must index a dataset to make its data attributes available to Home page Ask and Oracle Analytics AI Assistant. The error complains about no Language model being defined, refer step 7 and ensure to select a language while indexing a dataset. 7. Click the Languages field and select the language you…

@Conor Murnane I just tested your scenario and even I do not see the Action_Timestamp column. I will suggest you log an Idea labs request for this column to be mapped to the OOTB Semantic Model.

@R. Park There is no way to extend a fact table as of now using Semantic Model Extensions. In case you feel this feature will be helpful I would suggest you log an Idea Labs request with the Business justifications for the PM team to check on the feasibility of the feature being requested.

-
@Ruvina Khan As mentioned by @Sumanth V -Oracle You can create a Data Connection in the FDI integrated OAC to the Oracle Application connector. Once done, you can create a dataset based on the OTBI Connection. The OTBI Subject areas will be visible post that.
-
@JobDeLuna This is more of a OAC problem and should be discussed in the OAC Forum for more accurate responses.

@Gopal Chopperla What you are observing is an Expected behavior. You are trying to run a logical SQL against a ADW database which will not work. Also there is no option to change the Connection type after you have started creating a dataset. You have to create a new Dataset, select the Local Subject Area Option while…

@Stefano_Mazzocca Did you compare the execution queries for both the attempts? May be that will give you a clue.
-
@G Prasad Can you please confirm which Product are you using here? Please note that this forum is dedicated to Fusion Data Intelligence Product.

@r1csm1th One way would be identify the underlying PVO's for the FND_LOOKUPS table and create Augmentations on top of those PVO's to bring the required data to the Database. Post that you can perform Semantic Model Extensions and bring in the table to the required Procurement based SA you want.
-
@Anurag Bairagi I would suggest you log an Idea Labs request for this along with the business justification of why you need this feature. You can have an official way of tracking the request.

@User_Y8TLB In FDI all the system settings are managed from FDI Console→System Settings. You will not be able to access OAC's system settings explicitly. In FDI workbook scheduling is not available by default since its a preview feature and has to be requested to be enabled for your instance after you have proper approvals…
