I think this is an excellent idea. It would be good to have a way to "tag" a person and have also a way to define status for an action as "comment reviewed, action pending, action completed"...

The request is to have a page in the console with basic statistics without having to install the usage tracking subject area. This is a different request.

It would be an acceptable first step. But it would be better if it's available when a user click on "Inspect" in a dataset and put it below the the file size of the dataset. In addition it might be interesting to put the number of columns too.
