Hello, not sure if this has been answered by now, but have you seen the relative time feature in either fiscal date or date fields? I'm sure you could also create an expression filter using 'timestampdiff' with current date if you want to do it manually. Hope this helps!

Another important issue with the timeout is sometimes when you don't realize that you need to authenticate before you click save which causes you to lose all progress. If the idle timeout didn't also cause lost work it wouldn't be nearly as disappointing. I fully support your ideas listed above!

Hi @Abhishek Bajpai -CEAL Team-Oracle , This video was really helpful for getting logical SQL parameters to work for me! I've finally gotten the drop down menu to work how I'd like it to. The part I struggle with is defining the parameters that use Logical SQL in custom calculations so I can put the selection into a table…

Would you mind posting your solutions? How were you able to dynamically select the Fiscal Year?
-
That makes sense! Thanks for letting me know Jamie.

I second this idea Chris. When linking to external reports, its important that the rounding conventions stay the same as much as possible so we don't confuse the report consumers. This would be very helpful for my team as well!

Hi Tom, if you check again the course should be working again!
-
Hi Tom, they released a new version of the course on July 5th to deal with the audio issues, however, when I try to play it I get an error. Hopefully they are working on this so we can get on with the course.

Hi @Dinky Dudeja , would you mind posting what you're currently using for the parameter? Have you checked out the Oracle Analytics Youtube channel? They have a couple videos that may be helpful for you. I am also trying to create dynamic fiscal period selection through parameters, so I am struggling with a similar issue.
-
My goal would be to have a dynamically updating report that automatically selects the most recent closed fiscal period, eg if we are in mid June it will select May because that is the most recent closed period.

Hi @Nupur Joshi-Oracle , Say I've created a workbook with a couple of HCM key metrics like Current Headcount, Current Average Salary by Sex, and Current Open Job Positions. If I am able to add a trailing period number filter to the top bar and set it to 0, then the report is dynamic and I won't have to remember to change…

Figured out how to enable Developer mode though clicking on my profile then advanced then enable developer options. From there I followed this link to get the Logical SQL to show up.

This would really come in handy!
