Have you looked at the AppData\Local\DVDesktop folder? On the surface it seems it should as easy as deleting folders. That said - this is Oracle we're talking about. Good luck.

Try making your population column a measure instead of an attribute.

You haven't provide a whole lot to go on, but if you're looking to create a new data source with just the cites missing population, take a look at Data Flows. Otherwise, I would think you could just use filters.

I don't know that everyone's experience will be the same, but I simply uninstalled DV2 (I didn't delete anything - just uninstalled) and then installed DV3. All content was intact when I fired new new version up.

There is no easy way. We ended up installing R 3.1.1. separately, then we installed AA on a machine that had Internet connectivity and copied the resulting R libraries from that machine onto the one without Internet.
