Or, instead of raising a SR but trying to find answers in the forum, provide more details about your environment: what kind of migration was done, what's the OS, from where you are trying to execute the command etc. And check the logs on the server: if the request did reach the server, and based on "Error Executing Export…

@User_TTHXA , keep in mind how the security implementation really work. You didn't provide a product name (and version), therefore a number of the answers above do not even apply to you. The Oracle Analytics platform only knows the users it "saw", mostly when you use an external authentication source, the product doesn't…

Sounds to me like here there is a mix of topics/issues, one impeding the other to work… Aren't you facing mostly an "access" issue to your OAC instance for the various methods to work? As it's a private instance, there are more things blocked than allowed. The SR you raised answered that they didn't test that solution…

Hi @RaMai , If you have a question about OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), you should try to visit the forum that cover that product (OCI is not an Oracle Analytics product). Have a look in https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect , it has lot of categories and can be a bit confusing at first, but OIC is covered there.

Hi @User_VAMIK , Can you post a new question explaining your case? This is almost 10 years old based on a very old version of OBIEE. In your question, it will help if you can also share your product name and version, and which piece of the product you are using and expect to be able to export to a FTP server (DV,…

Did you also consider a DV dataflow? It can write the resulting dataset into a database table.
-
More in general, seeing as you are facing a number of issues after your migration, maybe you should also review the migration process. No info was shared on what product/version you migrated from, but maybe a step was missing somewhere to explain all these issues?

@Arun Kumar Bangalore , BICC and PVOs are not Oracle Analytics products, therefore this isn't the right forum for it. They are covered in a parallel, but independent, forum: https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect There are lot of categories there, including some related to data and analysis for Fusion products, like…

Hi, Did you see https://support.oracle.com/support/?kmContentId=2436328&page=sptemplate&sptemplate=km-article ? Or also https://oracledataviz.blogspot.com/2020/05/using-of-session-and-repository.html . You can reference session variables in DV and get their values to be used in various calculations, formulas etc.

Hi, Did you configure your WAF with the extra headers to let OAS know it is acting as ssl offloading proxy in front of your OAS? Typically the header "WL-Proxy-SSL" with a value of "true" should be used to tell OAS that your proxy (your WAF) is doing the SSL job and terminate the SSL connection there. If you didn't…

Your assumption is that there is a padding setting outside the table, while the existing setting is the width of the columns inside the table visualization. If you change the width of the columns you see that the values are saved as a property of the view itself in the workbook. The challenge is that if you use 2 different…

Thank Tim for the post and the analysis. Reading this thread, what you are observing, sounds to me like an issue. The RPD is expected to be the one defining what columns are (datatype), while it isn't the case anymore apparently. If you were using a column based on some calculation between the two sources RPD and dataset,…

"classic" agents have conditions, therefore the agent will execute fully only when the condition is matched. You probably can use your DV source and logic to build "classic" agents with the condition. Then the agent will just send a link to the DV workbook you need people to check. SMS aren't a thing, but if you have a…

Hi @Havish , Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community and forum. As this thread was abandoned by the original poster, without many details, you better post a new question for your problem. Provide all the details to understand your environment, products and problem. That will increase your chances to get a valid answer…

As you mentioned earlier Carter, posting an idea asking for a better handling of hierarchies would be good. DV comes from a state (IMHO) when it was all flat files and no hierarchies anywhere, therefore the need for a better navigation of hierarchies wasn't there. "classic" come from RPDs where you are supposed to have…

Hi @User_HHXDN , Did you check the MOS document that is linked above? If you did and still have an issue, post a new question for it. Remember that you should provide as many details as possible. Things like product name and version, what you did, what you see, what the logs shows etc. to let others have a clear picture of…

The permissions that exist on the (classic) catalog are those you see, there aren't more permissions somewhere else. Moving an object is a mix of permissions: write in the destination folder + delete in the source folder. Therefore if you want a proper "move" action, the permission to delete is required. The only way to…

Hi @Timy Shark , MOS, the support site, changed fully a few weeks ago and all URLs and DocIDs changed: some redirect, some don't… You can find the current critical patch update for OAS & OBI at https://support.oracle.com/support/?kmContentId=11137874&page=sptemplate&sptemplate=km-article or also…

Hi, Ideas for features, enhancement request, should be posted in the Idea Lab: https://community.oracle.com/products/oracleanalytics/categories/idealab-oracle-analytics-cloud-server That's where product management will be able to see your feature request and based on a number of factors (including up-voting by other users…
