There could be a hidden checkbox somewhere in the visualization (I had a quick look and didn't see one), therefore somebody else could maybe have an easy solution (I admit of having a bias against DV and its components).

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community and forum. What product are you using exactly? It isn't OAC, right? Because in OAC or OAS, it is a quick drag&drop to decide which column drives colours. If you are working inside NetSuite itself, maybe you should consider asking in…

It's definitely more a system setting than a semantic model settings, mostly with many queries not touching the semantic model anymore. Having a system-wide log level does make sense.

I just gave it a quick try this morning while I was checking OAS 2026. With DV datasets, even when setting a join as an outer join, it kept doing an inner join. But because it is between 2 files, I wasn't expecting much as the product has always been bad at doing the job of a database, If you have a semantic model, that's…

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community. Your question is about Fusion, not an Analytics product. All the Fusion products are covered in a parallel, but independent, forum: https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect Visit it, find the best matching category for your question and you should get some replies.

Hi, Just to be sure: you are working only with datasets, there is no semantic model involved in this, right?

It's a 20Kb file, no need for the download manager. Just click the filename directly instead of the (top or) bottom-right "Download" button.

Adding as extension to the lack of wildcards or regexp on LSQL, you can translate a '%N.__.3__%' into a series if LOCATE, SUBSTRING, If-Else conditions. It will be ugly, difficult to maintain and even more to explain what it does over time. And you better not have such kind of expression applied to more than a few rows,…

LOCATE doesn't support wildcards like the LIKE operator does in SQL with '_' and '%'. And I don't remember any regular expression string function in LSQL. Depending what you are trying to do, if a regex is what you need, you will need to consider pushing that down to your database if that's possible.

Applying the stack patch bundle is one command. I don't count it as a "painful" task as it just work (no DB upgrades or various commands etc.). As Steve said, just do the normal upgrade and then when done apply the latest SPB and call it a day. You may want to stop at 8.2.0 (2025) for now, another user here reported issues…

The best answer for what data source exists, is usually in the doc: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsds/listed-supported-data-sources-oracle-analytics-cloud.html And if you don't find yours, then you need to look for "indirect" connections via APIs or other forms of integration, as Brendan pointed…

Hi, What Oracle Analytics product is your question about? Because BICC is a Fusion thing, covered in https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect , so you are maybe asking about an Oracle Analytics product, but you don't give any hint about which one is involved.

Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community and forum @User_NHITU . Your question is very generic and vague. The answer is probably to ask the people in charge of the platform you want to use in your company. To give you a better answer, you will need to share many more details. Starting from the product you expect to…

As OAS 2026 is barely a week old, there is probably little to no one who did an in-place upgrade. That's why I don't expect many other people replying here. I'm still going through the things I find a bit strange (wrong, poorly documented, etc.) in OAS 2026 itself, without even thinking at trying an in-place upgrade and…

Hi Rasta, In his post Rufus shared that he did use the email you mentioned to register (the same of his account here in the forum, you have access to it when looking at his profile as an admin of the forum). To preserve his privacy and avoid his email to be publicly posted in a forum, I removed it from his post (as it was…

Hi Rufus, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community and forum. @Rasta Ghafouri-Oracle, can you look into this issue?

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community and forum. I suspect you are in the wrong place and your question should be posted somewhere else. Do you mind sharing what product is your question about?

Hi, Is your dashboard a "classic" dashboard page with an analysis in it? Or is it a DV workbook? (I'm not fully sure, the border on the table make me guess "classic", but it could also be DV). You said the older version of the same report work: what is the difference between the two versions? The fact it does work first…

Hi @Szymon Grzęda , For that task, catalog manager wouldn't be my first choice, mostly because it doesn't directly have something giving you the code defining an object (you could maybe get by generating a report, but not sure if the whole XML will be there, because the report will be a mess and lose its table-like…
