Hi @Moriah O'Kelley , You can manage in the permissions who (app role or user) can use write-back. If you don't already an app role that perfectly fit the users you need to be able to do it, create a new one that you use just for being able to use write-back.

Hi, You should visit and ask in the matching category for your Fusion product. You are asking about Fusion data, not about Publisher. The Oracle Analytics community covers Publisher as a technical solution, but doesn't cover Fusion data, which is fully owned by Fusion, and covered in the parallel (but independent) Cloud…

If all your tables have the same structure, then the physical joins are all the same for all the tables, but they all need to have the joins. And from a logical point of view you only define the joins once, because all your tables are different LTS of the same logical table.

This shouldn't be an idea, it's a bug. The fake pop-up can't be resized by design. Oracle Support suggesting this is a request to improve UI and therefore should be an idea is not correct IMHO. The product is displaying text, but text isn't visible: it is a bug. @Benjamin Arnulf-Oracle , any chance to expedite this one to…

That's exactly my point: they say they replicated it, they clearly saw the text is truncated. This is the definition of a bug. But they call it an improvement of the UI. Well, you aren't asking for the UI to be improved, you are asking to be able to read all the text "they" are displaying in it.

Did they tell you to create an idea for a visual bug? You aren't asking to add emoticons to those labels, you are asking to be able to read them. It's a bug, that's what it is. (upvoted, even if it definitely shouldn't be an idea but a bug they fix in the next bundle patch)

Since we cannot create joins as per out table structure Mmmhhh, why? You maybe have no physical join, but you still can have logical joins. If you have no joins, then your measure tables contains only measures, but it would be meaningless measures if they have no attributes. And in your fragmentation rule you write:…

Thanks for sharing Chad. Not sure I will buy that argument, mostly knowing FMW for OAS 2025 is the same exact one used for any OAS release so far (the 6 of them existing). But now all of a sudden the same FMW binary comes with an extra port required somehow… Ok, let's take that reason and call it a day, nothing will change…

Thanks Alex :)

@Alex Rubin-Oracle , if OP got the answer and it wasn't one previous posted here, it would be useful for the community to share it here. Then OP can mark it as the answer to the question and all other users will benefit from it when opening this thread. Thanks :)

As a reminder, the feature might be desupported in a future update. I hope Oracle is close to finding a replacement solution, it's now 5 years and counting… (just dropping it without a replacement will be hard to sell to a number of customers, and OAC not having it is one of the reasons I heard for staying on OAS).

What Steve said, the doc should be good enough, because the in-place upgrade process didn't really change…

There isn't a written set of WLST commands to create the default security model, you would generally build it by exporting the default security (or if you have a script that does read the security model and generate all the WLST commands to recreate it). And I don't have the default OAS 2025 security model around, still…

Follow to enable the discovery cache for EM, then your login will work. I usually use the method of adding the few config lines to the file and restart the AdminServer. It's a known thing that EM is "painful" to login into because of timeouts.

Hi, I would definitely start by having a look at for an overview of the standard installation topology. If you have the need to go for the "Enterprise Deployment", you can read about it at (and here you easily see how it's already a quite complex deployment, you maybe don't need it at all…). Keep an eye on to make sure you…

Hi, When you import your BAR, you can decide to not override the security, and you then manually do a "merge" between your custom 12c security and the default OAS 2025 security. This allows you to maintain all the default roles and policies, and to be able to inherit what needed in your own security. Or, just recreate all…

Hi @User_YDCVF , First of all welcome to the Oracle Analytics community and forum. This is a 9 years old post that has been migrated across various forums over the years, and the user who posted it is not even in this forum anymore. Because of the lack of any detail (not even sure what product it was about), it will not…

Hi @Neha_Naik004 , This thread is 9 years old and has been moved across 3 different forums migrations. That's why the pictures aren't visible (they have been lost somewhere). The user you mentioned is not active in this forum. If you have a question about this topic, post a new question with all the required details…

In that case, you better post in the forum. It's fully separated from this one and therefore content can't be moved there. You can either post in the Data Integration category (linked above), or also look if something else sounds like a good match for your need (they have tons of categories about Fusion HCM for example).

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community and forum. Is that ODI part of OBIA or some other Oracle Analytics products? ODI and OCI Data Integration aren't Oracle Analytics products, and therefore aren't covered in this forum. Maybe you should have a look at , it's a parallel (and separated) forum that focus on just…
