In Platform 25.R2 (May 2025), we introduced the Sort Order Column capability. It lets you select a specific column to control how a logical column is sorted when adding or extending dimensions through the Sandbox framework. We don’t plan to support reordering columns within a prebuilt dimension or fact folder. To control…

In Platform 26.R3 - August 2026 we introduced two new security exports: Generate and download a security report: You can generate and download a CSV report detailing custom security context and custom object security configuration permissions. Download role mappings: You can download a CSV Security Configuration report…

We don’t plan to support both features running in parallel. However, we will continue to enhance Advanced Options for Configurable Security Context. While Configurable Security Context remains in limited availability, we will continue to review this feedback. Additionally, we do not currently plan to support additional OAC…

Security Bundle Replace is planned for 26.R4 later this year.

Thank you for your suggestion. At this stage, however, supporting the use of a non-key attribute to drive advanced security within the security context is not on the roadmap due to current feasibility constraints. We can revisit this in the future if those constraints change.

We recognize the limitations of the current prebuilt Licensed Roles and are evaluating the feasibility of making Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) fine-grained permissions available directly within Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI). This would provide greater flexibility and more granular control over user access. In the meantime,…

Some reasons to keep seperate prebuilt and custom database objects: Security - More granular control over user permissions and access, reducing the risk of unauthorized access to sensitive data. Separation - Easier to manage and organize external data without interfering with the default OAX_USER schema. Easier Maintenance…

Another suggestion is to use Semantic Model Extensions to create a custom Subject Area (based on an existing one) and rename the fields as needed.

We'll review this for consideration in a future release.

Tagging is not currently on the roadmap. However, we do offer an multi-development LA feature called “Sync With Main Sandbox.” This can be enabled in your test or development instances by submitting an SR. Please note that once this feature is enabled, it cannot be disabled. We are targeting GA for release 26.R3.

You can clear the cache from the OAC Console under Sessions and Query Logs. Let me know if you’re trying to accomplish something else.

This feature will be available when OAC is upgraded to January 2026.

You may be seeing that reference on the Oracle AI Data Platform Product Roadmap, rather than the Oracle Fusion AI Data Platform Product Roadmap.
