Thanks Joel...luckily we have had usage tracking turned on so I'm going to take a stab at both of these methods to find what I need.

Very helpful, thank you!

Sorry Manoj. I felt the second answer was a bit more informative. As a newbie struggling to get this stuff to work, your answer was just too vague.

Here's the solution I ended up with. Documenting in case it can help anyone else. I changed my BI data model to accept invoice as a parameter and then I appended that invoice parameter to the output_filename and the mail subject line. I created a process in ODI to loop through the data table to identify invoices that…

Thank you both a ton!

Thanks again Gianni! It seems the Published Reporting - Report does what I expected with the columns, but not nearly as friendly to work with. I'm going to give this a shot. Jessica

Thanks Gianni - Are there any workarounds that you can think of? Like a cursor to loop through the data and building a separate pivot table report for each Category AAA, BBB, etc? Or I guess going back to my Crystal Report days, a pivot table subreport? Sorry if these are stupid questions. I'm a BI newbie. Jessica

Thank you Thomas, that was extremely helpful.

I appreciate everyone telling me that the setup is wrong. I'd like to correct that - does anyone have suggestions on how I should go about doing that. Thanks in advance, Jessica

All our custom folders are below the RPD in the shared part of that path.

I do not see a procurement folder nor a purchasing sub-folder. I've confirmed with my coworker that our catalog is pointing to a different folder structure. All our folders are in: $BI_HOME/instances/instance1/bifoundation/OracleBIServerComponent/coreapplication_obis1/repository/root/shared While all the seeded content is…

Under Shared Folders I see folders that we created, but none of the seeded folders.

So if I can see folders like this on the server... $BI_HOME/instances/instance1/bifoundation/OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent/coreapplication_obips1/catalog/OracleBIApps/root/shared/procurement/purchasing/transactional+analysis+samples Does that mean the content is there and I have a security issue to resolve? Thanks…

I'm using the weblogic user and the catalog is not there. Like I said, the third party is long gone, I'm coming in late to the project and asking all the questions that should have been asked before they were done.

Christian, These docs are providing good lists of what should have been delivered. Apologies on the newbie question again, but any pointers on how to get them in our OBIEE instance? I have two theories - First that they are there, but our security was mucked up so that we can't see them. I'm using weblogic though so I…

Thanks Christian. That somewhat confirms my suspicions. Any clue what I need to do to resolve this? I'm joining the project late, the third party is already out of the picture and our internal staff didn't know to question this.
