It really depends on what you mean by a report. The OAC component of FAW has the classic part for analyses and dashboards; Oracle Analytics Publisher is used for pixel perfect reporting and Data Visualisation is used for creating self serve workbooks. FAW should allow you to do all the above.

It’ll definitely work but It is a bit of a long winded workaround and not a very slick user experience. The other issue is that business users will need higher privileges for developer tab access.

BI Publisher reports are completely different from OAC/OAS/OBIEE analyses. https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/bi12214/bip/BIPUG/GUID-BCE192E5-8DF4-409D-94E2-3D7C3B7AAA47.htm#BIPUG223 Alternatively, look at this Support Document for details of tables that hold the BI Publisher reports…

It isn’t clear if you have OAC, OAS, OBIEE or OTBI. Do you have database access to the RCU schemas?

You can use the Oracle BI Scheduler Job Manager - https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1221/biee/BIESJ/schedjobmgr.htm#BIESJ1453 This will give you a list of the jobs in a Windows Interface. Alternatively, you can get the job list from the Oracle BI Scheduler job tables which you can find in the BIPLATFORM RCU schema. *…

I'm not quite sure that I follow what your output from this is to be. You want to build an OBIEe analysis but you don't have access to OBIEE neither do you have access to Fusion. How do you intend to build this analysis?

You may want to consider another approach and use the Catalog Manager tool to create a report. https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/12211/biee/BIESG/GUID-E804B1AF-B792-4929-BE47-33CA0F668715.htm#BIESG340

This error indicates that you’re creating an analysis with multiple measures from more than 1 fact and there are some non confirmed dimensions. You will need to modify your repository to add content levels, logical dimensions and hierarchies.
-
What error do you get? You may have to try creating a union report.

You can find information on the OAC REST API endpoints here - https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/api/#/en/analytics/20190331/

That is the intended functionality. If you want to share content then that has to be done in the shared folders. My Folders is for personal use only.
-
What do you mean by “my folders “? Could you kindly elaborate?
-
Thanks Steve. This resolved my issue.

Thanks Steve. I’ve done all of that yesterday. I’m patiently waiting for some sort of response from Support.
