anything recently changed in the catalog?
-
Are you doing this in catalog manager? is it in the front end catalog view? Which permissions are you changing and on which object?
-
What version of OBIEE? What exactly are you after? Some sort of utility that transforms OBIEE artefacts?
-
There are probably other ways this can be done but a straightforward way to do this would be to make use of the Evaluate Function. This will pass the call to the Database TRUNC function.
-
Best to start with what the root cause of this is. * What is running when this CPU surge occurs? * Do log files provide any clues? * Has anything recently changed?
-
* How do you download/upload your rpd? * Which changes did you make in the non Prod rpd? * Which log files have you looked at and were there any errors? * Is this 12.2.1.4? * Which OS? As you can see, there are a lot of questions that need to be answered first.
-
Can you check your log files ( a quick google search should show you where to locate them) and the post any errors you come across here if you still require any further assistance. Also, has this OBIEE instance worked previously? If so, what has recently changed?

Which log files have you looked at for any clues? Which OBIEE version? Which OS?

According to this document, https://support.oracle.com/knowledge/Enterprise%20Performance%20Management%20and%20Business%20Intelligence/2316810_1.htm… , you need to disable lightweight SSO to allow the username/password parameters in GOURL. For further information on enabling/disabling OBIEE 12c lightweight SSO, look at the…

The reason why @Gianni Ceresa is asking for your version is that passing the username and password in the GOURL was discontinued in OBIEE 12c. It isn't recommended but you'll have to disable lightweight SSO using WLST in order to get this working.

In that case, you'll need to open the BI Publisher report from the catalog and if your user has the right privileges, then you can open up the report and it's underlying data model. In your screenshot, there is a link to the catalog which you'll need to click on in order to get to the catalog.
-
This looks like a BI Publisher report. Are you trying to open the report in order to make some changes?

+1 - writeback never ever took off for a reason...
-
To add to @Christian Berg insights, I would also consider reviewing the design of your analyses. The screenshot you provided is at a higher level of granularity than your writeback requirement. I would have an analysis aggregated up to your customer number level and place the writeback there and there can be a drill down…

I don’t believe you need an additional licence for SmartView but always best to run this by your Oracle Account Manager.

Take a look here - https://community.oracle.com/message/10680962?sr=search&searchId=e35fbfa4-991d-4e42-99f9-53bc248d3884&searchIndex=12#106… You'll need a WLST script to get this information.

Take a look at Stewart Bryson's blog post.
-
A quick trick would be to "make the 3rd prompt column different". You could append a space to the end of the column for example.
-
That is the correct documentation. Follow all the steps and you should be fine. I’ve used it several times for SSO configuration.

Just seen this. It’s been a busy morning! As far as I’m aware, BAR files can be imported whilst online. You need to be online to run the import script. You just need to reload server metadata to get the rpd changes online.
