Ok Adam. Hope it works for you
-
Could you share the content of the log file [xml file]?
-
If you are using a network share, you should map this with the local system account first. Otherwise this will not have access to the shared drive when using start.cmd
-
I would say always install as local system account. Never use domain accounts as these can be deleted and what will happen with this environment? What are the permissions on the following folder? \UNC\bgpcfil1\obiee$\bidata\service_instances\ssi\metadata\content\catalog\root
-
What kind of errors are you getting when starting with the local system account? You are sure the permissions are setup correctly on the OBIEE folder and all folders below OBIEE?
-
Have you seen doc 2104179.1 and doc 2077764.1? Which version of OBIEE are you using right now? I also don't have Windows laying around, but using the standard services or scheduled tasks should work fine.

Thanks for spotting Joel! I do find it strange to have this included in the solution: SET VARIABLE DISABLE_CACHE_SEED = 1,DISABLE_CACHE_HIT=1 Also have asked Oracle support if this patch is going to solve this issue [as they did not reply to my SR at all]
-
From my side multiple. Every time it happens a new SR is opened for this. Also pointed to this topic in the SR that multiple sites have this issue.
-
And the issue is back again: stopped this morning between 10:49:31 and 12:11 on all environments SR created again for the same,
-
I believe you need to setup the keystores for both servers as well so that communication is possible. Please share logs if you have them
-
Based on this I would say your certificates are not setup correctly. Which commands did you execute to create your keystore?
-
I don't have a shareable document for you with all steps. I would say: 1) start with enabling the adminserver for the AD config 2) Make sure that this is not setup as required 3) Restart admin and check why users are not imported and share logfile of what is running now Once above is done, continue with the biserver
-
Did you apple the custom identity to both servers? So adminserver and biserver. Please check the logging of AD why the users are not visible.
-
Ok. You did reboot the weblogic services after you applied these? The General SSLEngine problem clearly states something is wrong with your certificates.
-
Did you follow these steps from the documentation? https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1221/wls/SECMG/ldap_atn.htm#SECMG539
-
What error are you seeing in the domain log file on the server? General SSLEngine problem?
-
Same issue on 16/01/18 on 3 different environments. Somewhere between 17:50 and 18:50 it stopped refreshing. Previous failure was on 29/11/17. SR created
-
Have you disabled internal ssl only or the complete SSL configuration?
-
Please check from EM on which port the BI server is running. I believe you are using the wrong port. Target Navigation -> Business Intelligence -> biinstance -> Availability tab -> Processes -> Check BI Server

Agent owner is specified as admin? If so, only an Admin can change it. Specify the agent owner at a lower group and all users belonging to that group are able to adjust this agent.
