In my opinion your report is created incorrectly if you are dependent on certain columns to be there. Have you checked your RPD to see if all is setup correctly?

Remove the columns from the criteria tab. CSV export is not looking at how you formatted the results, but uses the criteria tab for export. Also see doc 2023149.1

Are you able to access the DB from the server on which you are going to install BI? Try to create a sqlplus connection to make sure all firewalls are open.
