Hello Syed, In short, yes. You could achieve near-real time reporting by taking advantage of Oracle BICS DataSync Tool for managing the data-loads, schedules, etc. You have plenty of options to schedule the loads and set the frequency as well and the best part of this tool is you can easily handle Update Strategy for…

Hi @Alan Lee - Oracle-Oracle, Sorry I never got an opportunity to look at this post earlier. I would not necessarily agree about limiting rows of 200 but can we have an option on the View. Mostly (or everyone) will use 'Table View' so request you to consider at-least this option in the future releases.

@Alan Lee - Oracle-Oracle - Thanks for the update and sorry for delayed response on it. a) I am not sure about the stability issues here just to get a 200-rows set from the datamodel whereas a large amount of rows can be extracted through report. Considering there is no direct connecton to Fusion DBs (like SQL-Developer),…

hi Pritesh, What's the error message? Inaccessible column? If so, you would need to grant the relevant bi-transaction duty roles. thanks, Santosh

You can only create logical lookups in BI/OTBI thru CASE statement or using select 'x' form dual, etc. And if you are going to require those lookups to transact further, they must be created in the Fusion UI using dff setup.

In my version of oac datasync, I am able to enter custom-sql (without any number of objects) I would suggest you to raise an Oracle SR.

thanks Roger. Can you click as shown in the attached image? Btw, your seems to be slightly different.

I have this version and it works fine for me: Oracle Analytics Cloud Data Sync (2.6) Compatible with OAC Data Loader VersionBase version: V2Major Version: 1Minor Version: 0Build: 12.0.0.0.0.20190410.1502 Even if you have a slight higher version, it should still work as I think this feature is coming from earlier version…

hi Roger, Can you try these steps? DataSync -> Project (either new or existing) -> New -> 'Add new source object' -> OK -> 'Enter object's properties manually - Provide a logical name -> you will see a dialogue box and at the bottom 'Data from :query' -> You will see 'Properties' -> Query Override -> In the value 'enter…
