Its not recommended to rename the custom folder. This is due to the fact that the "Customize" feature refers to the exact seeded folder structure under custom folder. As per my knowledge, the only work-around is to edit the report individually.

BI Publisher do not format the data sent to the Excel. Please try building the report in Excel Template instead of rtf: https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/11119/bip/BIPRD/create_excel_tmpl.htm Note - Excel Template can only output the report in .xls, data or csv. For other output types, we need to use rtf format.
