On Linux, you can use commands to verify the port: sudo netstat -tulpn | grep nqsserver From Windows, you can telnet to verify connectivity to the port

Hi @User_Y8INM , Welcome to the Oracle Analytics Community! Before you get too far "down the road" on your installation, OBIEE 12.2.1.4 on FMW 12.2.1.3 has been out of error correction support(in Sustaining Support) for some time. It was replaced with OBIEE 12.2.1.4 on FMW 12.2.14 (see MOS notes), which has error…

I am going to close this thread, because this is not the appropriate place to be placing Support team contact information in a public setting , requesting escalations, asking for clarifications about the progress. This should be done via the Service Request. Your situation can potentially be slightly unique. Once…

If I had a public update, I would have shared it already 😀. Understand and aware of the implications. The correct engineering folks are looking into it, including the proper path to resolution. The assigned person to your Service Request should be providing you updates and there are defined escalation paths, if necessary.

I was able to validate the v3 extension includes data flows in SYS_DATAFLOWS.csv

Hi, The process is to follow-up in the Service Request.

Hi @Noé Aravena Mena Welcome to the Oracle Analytics Community! This area is the announcements and "lounge" area discussions (sharing blogs, etc.) To ask technical questions, I would redirect you here (for future postings): https://community.oracle.com/products/oracleanalytics/categories/oac-oas To answer your question…

Thanks for clarifying. Correct, a stack patch bundle is for patching. If you are referring to Upgrading, then you follow the Upgrade Guide documentation (i.e. install the new binaries and run the upgrade assistants.) You can go directly from OAS 2022 (6.4) to OAS 2025 (8.2), you do not need to upgrade to 7.6 in between. We…

Hi, I am trying to interpret your post. You have an environment that you have upgraded from 6.4 >> 7.6 >> 8.2, but now you are trying to apply an older 6.4 bundle patch (Oracle Analytics Server(OAS) 6.4.0.0.0 SPB Patch 35607281) I got a little lost in the 7.6 and 8.2 with a 6.4 patch. Can you clarify, please?

I cannot provide an estimate at this time.

Generally speaking upgrade scenarios are validated; however, not every combination, or scenario may be possible. All of that information can be handled via the Service Request. The appropriate parties have been informed, but it may take some time for the responses while your specific scenario is documented and reproduced.

Execute the script from this document and upload to the SR SRDC: Script to collect more EBR data for further analysis of dependencies/invalidation problems KB142172 It may be a helpful data collection point in addition to the UA logs Thanks

It is supported. I believe this is a side effect due to EBR support in 14c. Allow Support to continue their analysis, reproduce, etc.

Observed Behavior The Examine phase completes successfully for all schemas without any reported issues. However, during the Upgrade phase, the process fails immediately for the following schemas: OPSS MDS IAU The failure is associated with an "Invalid DB Role" error. Troubleshooting Steps Performed I have not encountered…

I shared the report with the same role and the formatting was visible OK, but after a few hours it stopped working again! You should file a Service Request for this, if you have not already.

To add to the previous reply about providing a notification service for dataflow or dataset failures, you can refer to this blog: https://blogs.oracle.com/analytics/oracle-analytics-data-flow-notification-system The Log filter task section allows you to configure how you’d like to filter the logs (in this particular…

Concur with all Gianni mentioned. OAS 2024 (7.6) moves to Sustaining Support in March and error correction support ends (no more critical patch updates or feature fixes) One other thing you can do is search the My Oracle Support Knowledge base. This is addressed in this knowledge article. Installation of Fusion Middleware…

Hi (1) Identify all such content in users "My Folders". One option, you can use Manage Content to search, filter, sort, change ownership of content. There is also a REST API Get catalog item details (2) Prevent these users from running the reports whose subject area access they are not allowed now. If you have denied them…

@FrancescaLB Welcome to the Oracle Analytics Community! The thread is two years old, better if you open a new thread and provide all your relevant details (OAS update, patches applied, platform, etc.) There could be multiple root causes, first step is to check that the application in running via the Weblogic Console >…

You can use parameters within calculation logic (such as CASE WHEN) to show/hide specific data) with a filter bar prompt. Simple example, show fixed costs vs. variable costs. I am not sure if that is what you are looking for.
