The files and DNS lookup, look OK, but the issue still matches. Give this a test: Create the file biserver.txt in [DOMAIN_HOME]/config/fmwconfig/bienv/core/ Edit the file and add only the hostname (that matches bienv-compoonents.xml — MADPAPPD01 Restart the services Test the the datamodel.cmd uploadrp command again If it…

@userva To Mostafa's point: 1. Are you running this command from the OAS server? or 2. Are you running the command from a client installation on your local Windows laptop/desktop? If on the client, which version of the client tools do you have installed? You may not want to post here in public, if not, the open an SR. It…

Great memory @Mostafa Morsy-Oracle , I do remember now that was introduced in OAS 2022 time frame. If executing on the server, the host and port are queried from the endpoint manager, and not necessary. On a client installation, the switches are necessary. We had a team update the following MOS Doc ID for clarity. After…

Hi @User_UZC1Y It would be great if you update your Display Name in your profile, so we know with whom we are communicating with in the community ;-) There are a couple of bugs logged for the FMw installer, but it seems like it was resolved as a documentation issue, instead of a code defect. The packages are listed in the…

Most of the time "null" has to do with hostname java net api may be having some sort of hostname mismatch. For the parameter -S 99.99.99.99 are you using an IP address, or the hostname? If the hostname, does it match your /etc/hosts file? or nslookup results? What about the bienv-compoonents.xml ?

Agree, to be more specific, you are likely missing an FMw Infrastructure requirement: libnsl.x86_64

@userva It is best practice to open a new thread for new issues, since the title of this issue is specifically about FMw Control EM You can mark @Federico Venturin 's answer as to solving answer. For the uploadrpd, the logs may need be reviewed, it may be best to log a service request.

There was a bug in 12.2.1.2 and 12.2.1.3, it's not true after.
-
@Hussain Friendly reminder, OBI 12.2.1.3 ended Error Correction support long ago. You will want to move to Oracle Analytics Cloud or Oracle Analytics Server (preferred), or to OBI 12.2.1.4 on FMw 12.2.1.4 until DEC 2025, when Premier Support ends. Also, OBI 12.2.1.3 was never certified on OL8 You may want to review this…

Hi, @Arka Mukherjee This is an old, closed thread. Best to open a new thread and provide all your details, screenshots, what exactly you are trying to export and to which format, etc. How you upgraded (in-place, or out-of-place)? You can always copy the URL and add to your post.. I'm having an issue similar to [URL] As you…

It is not supported to directly call 'exec' in the manual query. You can do it in the data model (RPD). Search and up-vote an existing Ideas Lab request, or if none exists, then file a new one with your use-case. Alternatively, you can see if this helps.…

Patch 34542329 (listed above) and 34065178 (included in OAS 2023/2024 installations) would be specific to the stack trace listed above, but always good to apply all for CPU. We will be releasing April quarterly patches today.

@userva, The Fusion Middleware Control (Enterprise Manager) not available is a known issue/bug. Please see: After Upgrade To Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), Fusion Middleware Control Enterprise Manager Is Not Accessible And Fails To Load (Doc ID 2948266.1) Two separate issues are being reported in this thread.

Private Access Channel requires VPN or FastConnect; whereas, Data Gateway does not. I forgot to provide you the overview link ;-) Overview to Connecting to On-premises Data Sources
-
To add.. Generally, speaking for OAC, you two options to connect from OAC to an on-premise datasource. Connect to on-premise data sources over private access channel (preferred if datasource supported) Connect to on-premise data sources using Data Gateway Some helpful blogs to give you an overview…

Hi @Attilio, Thanks for sharing the SR. I can see that the SR is with the Fusion Procurement team (OTBI team) not the Analytics Cloud team. If you have not already, double-check through the OAC document here to ensure all the criteria is met. Check the Overview section as well (I have assumed you have since it sounds like…
